I don't know if anyone has tried this, but I tried to experiment a little and mixed some ground coffee powder, a little sugar and a little egg yolk. I used this to clean my face. The rough texture of the sugar and coffee powder helped in exfoliating the dead skin cells so I continued using this concoction of mine. I don't use it everyday though. Just once or twice a week for exfoliation purposes only. You ladies might want to try it. |

You have a very interesting post. Do you still use toner and moisturizer after cleansing your face with the mixture? I haven't tried homemade facial products. I would make this at home.

| That's really interesting and a LOT cheaper then the professional stuff we buy. Thanks for the tip!!

Interesting invention! How did you come up with the idea? I imagine you need to thoroughly wash your face afterwards, so that it is not sticky. I hear that fresh berries are good for exfoliating, smushed and applied to the face like a mask. |

This is one recipe I cannot use. I simply hate coffee, I can't even stand the smell of it! Urgh. I could never wash in it.
