Default Moisturize your lips

Lipsticks are not enough to give moisture to the lips. We always go out to the market to buy night creams and eye creams but never think about getting a lip care cream. We do not even think of use some home made products to cure them. One can not just leave the cracked lips aside and forget about them. They talk about your personality and you better take care of them. They also need moisturizing, so massage them gently with a lip cream. You can also rub a soft tooth brush on them so that all the dead particles are removed softly. You ca also massage your lips with a good body oil or olive oil.

I always apply olive oil on my lips at night, it was recommended by a friend, it not only moisturizes my lips, but also helped in getting rid of the darkness on the lips!

What I do is brushing my lips lightly wheneve I brush my teeth to get rid of dead particles. But I never apply oil on my lips, now that I have read this, I better do that also. thank you for sharing.

I also use olive oil on my lips and it really helps keeping them moist, free of cracks. Petroleum jelly seems to help as well and I make sure I apply some on my lips every night.

I have to admit that I don't brush my lips as often as I should. A cheaper option fot lip balm is to use petroleum jelly. I have been using it for years on my lips.

I noticed from my sister that she is always using a lip balm. That was pretty good because it really moisturizes and gives extra protection to her lips.

One word: Vaseline. That's the answer to dry lips according to my mom. I actually prefer lip balm, but back when I was a little girl, and the only flavor they had for kids was this fruit punch, I kinda started licking it off my lips for the taste.

My daughter does the same thing with the different flavors. I am no longer giving her flavored ones as she got into the habit of biting her lips often at the same time, which causes her peel off the skin and get red marks on her lips.
