Default Tip for Oily skin.

Take tender neem leaves, paste them nicely, & apply to your face an hour before bathing or wash your one hour after applying it, do this twice a week. It clears the skin & prevents from getting pimples on your face too.

use powder make-up instead of oil-based or cream so as to avoid making the skin even oilier. there are also products which absorb oil such as finishing powders and the likes.

My face only gets oily during summer so I only use face powder in case my face gets oily. And I always bring some wipes with me.

I don't think so, because it contains all oily products in it, and it is good for dry skin. Sulphur content products are good for oily skin, because it reduces the oil secretion from the body.

Does boiling the leaves and using the water as face wash works too? Am just curious because am not sure if I have the patience to turn the leaves into a paste, at least boiling it is easier.

you can try it but I feel it will be less effective, grinding will
release the oils better in my opinion.

whatever you decide to do, don't use your regular cooking
vessels, neem is very very bitter.

I know you must be tried of that oily, shiny look...don’t worry even I had a same problem...these are some tips that I picked up and found useful...

Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face. This will make your skin glow...cut thin apple slices rubbed onto ur skin...will help in controlling oily shine.

Also, treatments like salicylic peels which are oil control skin peels when taken once a month. Some of the skin clinic like Kaya has these treatments...infact there are special packages they have come up with for a flawless, glowing, designer looking skin...

Also, use some smooth gentle cleanser to wash your face these are some of the brands that i liked strawberry face wash. Clean your face atleast two times a day...n don’t forget to remove all ur make-up before your sleep... try this and tell me how you find it

Do you think applying a face powder would help you minimize an oily skin problem? My friend used to applied face powder every time she remembered or felt that her face is getting oily.

Hi
Thank you very much for your advice.
I use MAC NW35 foundation. so do you think its better to use MAC NW30 concealer. And do i need to mix both foundation and concealer, or apply seperately in 2 layers. please let me know.

I have really oily skin. So I wash twice daily with a mild facial wash and throughout the day I freshen up by using oil blotting paper or washing my face with cold water. I can do the latter because I work from home so no need to wear make up.

Hey I came across this Maybelline new compact called whitestay UV... its a first time that a compact has come up with SPF 18... I really liked this compact and i think it’s gonna be useful especially in this monsoons because tanning does take place even in this season and using sunscreen would make skin greasy in this weather so I think using compact would be a great alternative... also it takes away oil from you face leaving it fresh and glowing...

Good idea, but i dont have a neam tree at home, but i can get neam leaves in plenty every month, i can travel to my aunt's place and get it, so tell me if there is a method to make it preserve either in a paste form or in a powder form, so that i can collect and prepare for the whole month.
