Default Color changing contact lenses?

Has anyone tried color changing contact lenses? I have been curious about them, I think it would be fun to see how I look with blue eyes instead of brown!

Default Color changing contact lenses?

hi,
A visibility tint is usually a light blue or green tint added to a lens, just to help you see it better during insertion and removal, or if you drop it. Since it's a very light tint, it does not affect your eye color.

An enhancement tint is a solid but translucent (see-through) tint that is a little darker than a visibility tint. An enhancement tint does change your eye color. As the name implies, it's meant to enhance the existing color of your eyes. These types of tints are usually best for people who have light colored eyes and want to make their eye color more intense.

Color tints are deeper, opaque tints that can change your eye color completely. Usually they are made of patterns of solid colors. If you have dark eyes, you'll need this type of color contact lens to change your eye color. Color contacts come in a wide variety of colors, including hazel, green, blue, violet, amethyst and gray...

I really want to try them! When I got my lenses, my doctor said that they are just a phase and really talked me out of them. I am considering ordering them online just to give them a try.

I have never tried color changing contact lens. But most people are using it as fashion oriented. I am not attracted with it, i am using normal contact lens just for my vision problem.

My friend uses one since she can afford one. Hehe. I think it's cool to have a blue eyes for a moment. The problem is I don't even know how to put them safely.

You can also use the colored contacts to enhance the normal color of your eyes. I have green eyes and would get the green contacts which would make my eyes even a brighter green.

I had a girlfriend try some purple ones....they were just weird looking.

I've tried them and they're a lot of fun. Huge shock seeing yourself though I've got naturally brown eyes. I've tried silver and green solid ones. Loved the green and the grey made my eyes beautiful but a few of my friends said it made me look quite intimidating! My favourites though are enhancement ones which add gold flecks and sparkles, gives a new depth to my eyes and you can't tell it's fake.

If you don't know how to put lenses in I'd definitely watch a friend do it frst, if you touch the lens too much it can make your eyes sting. Wash your hands first and be generous with your lens solution!

I don't use contact lenses but when I do (actually, I should because my eyes are really bad but I hate wearing glasses), I'd choose the one with speckles! I'm asian with black hair so people would know right away if I use blue or green contacts! lol!

My cousin is using different colored lenses. She had a blue one and it really looks fantastic. I plan to try this one but my friend told me that this may harm our eyes. Do you think it is true?

I have tried contact lenses with clear tint only, extended use. But lately Something wrong happened. My eyes got irritated, I don't know where. It became dry and when I am going outdoors I can't easily open my eyes, It hurts to see the light. What do you think is the problem? I have never consulted the doctor, I just stop wearing my contact lenses and now my eyes are ok.

Thumbs up Go for it!

to miss petit you may have developed an allergy to your lenses a lot of people have allergies and cannot wear contacts

to the idea of coloured contacts they are really lovely in the sense they are different and can be pretty

I had the purple ones and really enjoyed them

they are more expensive than most other lenses and also if you leave them in overnight or forget to take them out they will give you an infection more quickly than many other lenses so be wary

I say if you can afford it Go for IT!

I thought about trying out a few colored contact lenses before too but the optometrist said that the lenses would give a slight tinge of color to your sight and vision may be blurry too so I just bought the clear ones.

I haven't tried to wear contact lenses lately. Do you think changing it's color is

alright for our eyes? I mean, does it will not harm our eyes?

See, that's what I'm not sure about. Thousands of people wear contacts, it seems to be safe. Thousands opt for the color-changing version as well. But there are cases of allergy / irritation. This is something to keep in mind.

I have actually tried blue color and I really loved using the contact lenses. It was a little uncomfortable in the beginning but after a few times, I got used to putting them on. I would really like to try out the cat eyes next time around but they are quite expensive and naturally pretty low on my list of priorities.

I've always wanted to try them too! I think they would look really cool. I'm just not sure if you can put blue over brown... i think your brown would seep through

I have never used any colored contact lens. And specially no color changing one. But i guess if you use a colored lens, we need match the original eye color. Else it may give a false color, i mean... if a person with a blue eye having a brown lens will give neither of the colors. :-)How is that problem solved with color changing contact lenses?

Thumbs up

Two years back i used to wear lenses. Brown one. It really suited me most. You can take the advice of specialist that which color will suit you best. if you want any particular color so you can purchase lenses of one month validity. I mean these lenses get expired within 1 month. It's easy to wear. little bit care is required.
