Default More tips for Eye Care

Here are some more tips for you to make your eyes more healthy and beautiful. To begin with try and drink as much water as you can in a day or keep a count of at least 10 glasses of water each day, this will not only help your eyes look beautiful but will give a glow too to your skin. In case of dark circles keep slices of potato or cucumber on your eyelids for 15 minutes every day. Sound sleep is very essential for tired and stressed eyes. You need to take time out of your tight schedule to eat and sleep well. Try and avoid using hard perfumes as they are not too good for our eyes that are extra sensitive. Regular use of rose water can proof to be very beneficial for your eyes so dip the cotton pads in the rose water and rest them on your eyelids for 15 minutes. Make sure that you take short breaks and relax your eyes at the same time as working on the computer for longer durations. Make a habit of washing your eyes at regular intervals. Most important, eat well. Green leafy vegetables are a blessing for your eyes, so make them a part of your daily diet.

I agree to that. Sound sleep at least 8 hours a day will reduce eye stress. If your eyes are dry, try using artificial tears, it will help lubricate your eyes to avoid scratches on the eyeball.

Sleeping eight hours per day is a good one and relaxation for eye care. Need of two hours gap before going to bed after watching TV or computer.Having fruits and vegetables is very much supportive for eyes care. For dark circles, cut cucumber and rest on the closing eyes just for ten minutes per day.

I use the cucumbers almost every day - I love the way it makes my eyes feel so refreshed and I can even the skin around them tightening, which is a great sensation.

I don'r really get an 8 hour of sleep everyday especially on a working day. so, I guess it's bad for my eye's health. but I do use potato or cucumber from time to time to soothe and relax my eyes but maybe I should try doing it everyday.

Thank you for that post, beauty info. Sometimes I am using cucumber to my eyes when to make it relax. This is really important guys. However, this is my first time to hear about potato. How is it done, is it like what you are doing with your cucumber? Do you think as an adult 8 hrs of sleeping is still necessary for us?

Great tips! That is the best way to care for your eyes, lots of water everyday and have enough sleep.

Artificial tears? so you mean something like glycerin ? which creates tears, movie makers use it to make fake crying... for scenes? I have never used it, but i felt that it will be uncomfortable, since its a chemical.. is there any side effect?

Thanks for the tips, very useful! Like the tip for washing your eyes with water, it relieves them a lot. I used the computer for 3 hours yesterday for some work, and in between I watched my eyes with cold water and it really helped me.

Anyone who uses a computer for long hours, I would recommend them to do this!
