Default Eyelid twitch

An eyelid twitch is involuntary spasms of the eyelid muscles. This can be caused by fatigue, stress and caffeine and may continue on and off for a few days. Even though there can also be other reasons for eyelid twitching, unless your eyelids close completely, it doesn't require any treatment and usually disappears on its own. In the meantime, getting more sleep, drinking less caffeine and lubricating the eyes with eye drops may help decrease the twitching.

i personally experienced eye twitching. i don't know before what to call that! good thing i am in this community. whenever i experience that i just close my eyes for awhile to relax eye muscles. some folks told me that it is because some sort of air gets into my eyes. is it true?

This has been happening to me lately. I have been so busy, I just took it as happening because I am totally worn out. It also happens more when I have my contacts in. I just close my eye and then it stops.

Hi Farce - for your information, it is the right eye, but it's nothing but a superstition as far as I know

LOL! Yes, then that will be our cue to start praying for some right eye twitches, too!

I've experienced this before too but it was just temporary. It could really be bothersome but at least it was just for a short time so I didn't panic.

Thank you for that post, butterflyes. Do you know that I was scared of eye

twitching before? Well, because I what was on my mind, it was something bad

or a sign of your eye inability to function well.

Hi Kyles414 - I am glad the posting was helpful. It is easy to worry about things that we don't know about. I hope you won't be scared any longer

Hi... This Twitching happens has a result of weakness of total body or due to sleeplessness. and things like that. You can have good fruits and juices and sleep at the right time and right duration and you will never get these things.. have a try.
