Do you like swimming? I think it is an excellent workout - all your muscles are involved, and it never gets boring. I wish I could do it regularly. I need a swimming pool!

During one of my heydays, I enrolled in one summer session in swimming. i did learn how to swim but guess it was only at that time! Because when it was over, I felt not adequately equipped to try swimming again... so i just float along when were into swimming...

Well, if you "float," that means you can swim, right? You don't have to swim fast, and in fact even just floating in the water makes your muscles work.

I have a swimming pool but am not one to get in and swim. I would rather get on the raft and float around the pool soaking up the sun!
This summer I should get in and swim for some exercise.

I do love swimming. Besides that we have fun in doing so it also exercises us. A great way to spend our time don't you think so?

Swimming is one exercise that makes your whole body move, and if your someone who hates walking, aerobics or any other form of exercise, then you should try swimming its not only fun but makes you loose weight, and make the whole of your body active.

Actually its been a while since i went swimming, i think it was when i was in school, its something i need to reconsider too.

When I am rich, I will have an indoor swimming pool so that I can use it all year! It is so frustrating to go swimming only on rare occasions, enjoy it so much and see how well it makes all the muscles work, and know that you are unable to do it regularly.

I've always love swimming. Since way back in my younger years up to now. The feeling of the water all over you while floating and stretching all your extremities are so pleasant to me.

It took me a while to learn to swim spiders. I was in my teens, most of my friends already knew how to swim, and I still couldn't. I had this fear of going under the water. Then somehow I got the feel of the water and learned to float - that was the first step. I had no teacher, I just figured it out on my own.

I used to be a swimmer at school, but that was an awfully long time ago. But now I decided that I should take it up again because I really need the exercise, and I struggle with my knees when I try running.

They offer swimming coaching at our gym, so I signed up for three months. It's great, since I have to be there at a particular time, and we generally swim about 2 km, three times a week. I've lost 10 kg, although I must admit that that wasn't only the swimming - what you eat is critical. But the swimming is great because it really is a whole-body workout!

Swimming is a complete exercise that involves not only all the muscles of the body, but also the lungs. It is a great wayto keep fit if it could be done regularly. Alas, we can't do it on land, and not everyone of us has access to a swimming pool or the sea. Swimming is a more rewarding exercise than aerobics or weight lifting, but we can't do it as easily.

Yeah it is a good exercise even for pregnant women. I'm scared of deep water so I don't like swimming at all. During my swimming class in college I always make up some excuses just to avoid swimming.

Yes, I love to swim. I have always loved it since I was a little girl. Swimming makes me feel very relaxed and energetic at the same time - and it is a great cardiovascular exercise as well. It has many other advantages like strengthening your muscles and helping you lose weight also.

I wish I was trained in swimming when I was young. It's kinda hard to learn when you're old.

I just read an article about different exercises to do in the pool. Water aerobics are great for exercise too. Even if you just get in and do some leg lifts, the resistance is wonderful!

I learnt to swim as an adult and I was afraid of the water. I thought that if I learnt to swim I might be less nervous around the water and enjoy doing things like going on boats, but I actually enjoy swimming and I am not afraid of the water anymore.

My local swimming pool ran classes for adults. The others were all nervous as well. The instructor was ever so patient and understanding with everyone.

If you can find classes I would recommend trying.
