I have no problem keeping fit in the summertime because I enjoy outdoor activities. In the winter I do not go outside much because of the cold weather. Needless to say, I tend to gain weight in the winter. Can you suggest the best indoor exercises to maintain fitness?

I think walking in place and aerobic exercises are pretty good when it comes to indoor activities. I found Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds a few years back and still do it everyday.

You could always go to a local gym or recreation center. If there are a few sunny days this winter, take advantage of them by going for a brisk walk. Still, exercise tapes are probably your best chances for exercise.

You could dance, run in place, stretch, use a treadmill or an exercise bike if you have them available to you. My dad is CRAZY.. he runs every single day in the garage. He does 3 miles. I can't imagine running around in circles like he does lol. He's listening to music the whole time though, so he doesn't seem to mind. He's been doing it for years.

I have a treadmill, and I love using it. Changing speed and incline adds to the workout, and I can always listen to music or watch TV while exercising. I know some people find treadmill boring, but I don't.
