Question Walking our best friend!

Walking is the man’s best friend” said Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine. The best exercise is the one that you are able to do frequently, regularly and conveniently. Walking is considered one of the best choices because it is easy, safe and inexpensive. Brisk walking can burn as many calories as running or jogging & is less likely to cause injuries. Walking needs no those shoes & keep walking. Moreover, you have to keep a watch on your food intake to reap the fruits of exercise.

Walking has definitely done me a lot of good. I've lost a lot of weight without much of a lifestyle change or any kind of change in my daily routine.

I love walking as well and it's pretty much the only exercise that I have been able to keep up with without getting bored of it. It has helped me build great leg muscles too.

I've come to appreciate walking more lately myself. I usually spend most of my time indoors, so I don't get out much, but walking has really changed that these past few months. I like the fresh air, too.

It's true that fresh air is a great bonus to walking. Especially if you can take a nice walk among the trees or by the water, it is just spectacular.

All this talk about the benefits of walking makes me want to take a walk; however, it is 28 degrees F outside. I use to be a runner but my knees cannot take the impact. On warm days I enjoy power walking.

It's hard to want to walk lately, because it's so cold outside. However, I have went to this place called Greenlake near my house a few times. It's about 3 miles around It's nice, because it's only cold when you start, then you get used to it. My dad and I took my dog the other day and she LOVED it. She was a little distracted by the squirrels though

I tried going for a long walk today but turned right around in less than 10 minutes because it was -20 Celcius and my nose froze as soon as I stepped out, lol!
