Smile Getting into the habit

Every individual is made up differently & knowing how much exercise you need can help you develop your own individual exercise regimen. On an average, exercising 4-6 times a week for about 30-45 min is usually a good plan. Since exercise has so many health benefits, any amount of exercise done is better than none at all.

It is good to remember that some exercise is better than none at all. The fact that we are always in need of exercise and how often we should get it can be a little intimidating, so much so that many people don't do anything.

I'm still working on doing this myself, but I find it really helpful to do things at the same time each day. It makes it become more of a habit and then over time, it will become something that's really easy for you to do and you won't have to remind yourself anymore. Plus, if you have someone to do it with, that really helps motivate ya more.

I have been exercising regularly for a longtime now. But now that the cold weather is here, I no longer feel motivated to go for my brisk walks. So, I started doing them inside the house. I just pop in the Walk Away the Pounds DVD and get walking

If it is cold outside, perhaps you can work out with a stepper at home, or a trad mill ! Even 15 minutes on the stepper helps you burn a lot of calories. Only thing is you must have enough space at home to keep the equipment but I believe now a days, even folding stepper is available with which you can save space!

Awesome idea - though I am not too crazy about the home equipments. I have owned different ones in the past and none of them has gotten enough use to even justify the price I paid for them, heh...

Perhaps, if you buy a used equipment, your investment won't be that much You can always find ppl willing to sell equipment they no longer use, I am sure you must have disposed of yours in much the same way

Haha, I'm the same. Well, I'm not motivated like you though. Sounds like you exercise more regularly than I do (which isn't hard to do haha.. I rarely do). I was pretty proud of myself the last few days, because I've been walking at the mall quite a bit, which is always fun for me. I just really like the atmosphere, always have. I walked three miles yesterday at this place called Greenlake. My grandma used to love it, so we did it in honor of her yesterday after we made cremation arrangements, which was sooooo draining.

That really is a great idea! You'd be surprised how many people will give things like that AWAY at garage sales, or have them really cheap. I got an awesome exercise bike for free once lol.. it's old, but it does its job
