Thumbs up Exercise

Physical exercise helps you develop & maintain physical fitness, alertness and overall health. It strengthens your muscles, skeletal frame and Cardiovascular system and helps you maintain a healthy weight.
Frequent and regular physical exercise boosts your Immune System & helps prevent various diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, improves mental health and prevents depression.

If you want to live longer, you'll exercise. It's such a simple concept, and yet it's still easy to neglect our bodies. Some people don't exercise until their doctor tells them to do it.

Sadly, I'm on the path of one of the individuals who won't exercise. I mean, it's not like I never do anything, but I sure don't do enough and I don't eat right either. It's weird how we know what's right for our bodies, but still don't do it. I guess it's one of those beliefs that "it won't happen to me"..

I used to think like you too Abeja, my sister in law recently dragged me along to her gym, it's a women's gym, I am now addicted, you don't realise how fun it is to excercise until you start, it was painful in the beginning when my body was getting used to it but now I feel so much fitter and more awake and alert during the day.

I wish someone could get me addicted to working out. That would be awesome. I used to run in place and dance for about an hour a day when I was in high school because I was bored and it helped me stay calm when I was stuck home watching my siblings 24/7

My day is not complete without exercise. I usually do jogging early in the morning. This keeps me upbeat and full of energy.

I'm trying to be active these past few days. I'd wake up early just to go walking for one hour. It's a good start for me since I've been sedentary for a couple of years now.
