| I'm curious what you guys thought of P.E. when you were in school. I myself could not stand it. I would find ANY reason to either skip (by saying I was sick or coming in to school late), or playing games as little as I could. I'll never forget this one time when we were playing Basketball.. I think I was probably in about 6th grade at the time, and I FINALLY made a basket. Sad thing was, it was in the wrong hoop. I also remember playing football in high school and I would freak out whenever the ball came my way. If I caught it, which didn't happen often, I would throw it to someone else as soon as I could. I'll never forget, towards the end of the year during high school, we could run for 30 minutes and that would give us a certain amount of extra credit. Well, I can't remember how far I ran, but I was determined to fix my grade, so I ran the entire class. I think I ran for over an hour if I'm correct. I think it's funny that I could have skipped 24/7 and then made it up with the extra credit. Too bad I didn't know that ahead of time lol

I was the same way - hated PE and used any excuse I could find to get out, including trying to obtain medical restrictions from my doctor. Basketball was a nightmare. I was tall, so I was often forced to play, and there wasn't much explaining done as to how. I was supposed to figure it out on my own, I guess. I hated that thing.

| I always hated how the other kids would take it so seriously and get upset with me because I wasn't doing a good job. It made me feel really insecure. I remember I would cry all the time before going. I liked school to a point, but then hated dealing with all the mean, judgmental kids. People can be so heartless sometimes.

In 10th grade, I went to see my vice-principal and told him that I was getting horrible cramps and headaches and that I couldn't participate in PE. He said I didn't have a choice, so I simply responded that he couldn't force me. He ended up excusing me for the whole year under the condition that I stay in the library to do my homework and assignments. I couldn't have asked for better |

P.E really makes me sick. Especially if the time is so not appropriate to do some sprints and jogs. I can remember my HS days where I had to do some push ups that was one hell of an afternoon. I can't stand those routines I'm not a boy to be doing such push ups cuz my muscles are too weak to push me upwards.
