Walking us an exercise which keeps you physically fit, happy and relaxed. It provides inner peace, helps to breathe deeply and observer the natural world. To have experiences, identify a place that you want to enjoy the nature chore an open place which should be 15 minutes walk leisurely and go longer and further. It is hot doing wear comfortable clothes put on hat or cap and sun glasses which would prevent you from heat stroke. Also spend few minutes on relaxing and stretching. Stretching gives you great rewards, make you feel lighter and flexible. It keeps you afresh. It also supports your emotional being.

walking is a best medicine for the patients of diabees and heart as it burns the extra colestrol and helps to maintain proper blood pressure. doctors often suggest such patients to go for morning or evening walk along with a controlled diet.

walking is definitely the best form of exercise, even if you are not someone who wants to sweat out on exercise, you can just do with walking, and like Neetu said even 15mins can do the trick, but more the better and if you can try do it for an hour a day.

Once you start walking for an hour a day, you will notice the difference in your health from the inside and outside in a weeks time.

Walking is really a good form of exercising.I find i can walk for a long time if i listen to music while i walk

I walk when I'm stressed out. Even at work- I will throw on my tennis shoes and hit the road. (mini-breaks) Walking can clear your head and also is great exercise.
My daughter and I walk all the time. We walk and talk about our days. It's great for bonding and exercise.

I am glad to see so many people in favor of walking here! I love it too, it is probably the easiest form of exercise and yet it is very effective if done regularly. It helps me to calm down when I am upset, too.

In addition, walking improves our mind power and memory. The more one walks the more the nerves in the brain are 'awakened' and refreshed. Happy walking everyone!

How long / far do you usually walk? When I walk around the block, it is about 3 miles - a nice walk that does not really feel that long as it might sound.

You know what else is good besides all of this by walking?

Walking calms u=our soul mos of the times.

I always walk ost of the times when I get frustrated or that sort and it really relaxes me 99% of the time.

Yes i agree with that. Walking is really a good form of exercise. I did walk when i go to school to save money at the same thing as my exercise.

Sleepwalking (also called noctambulism or somnambulism), under the larger category of Parasomnias, is a sleep disorder where the sufferer engages in activities that are normally associated with wakefulness while asleep or in a sleeplike state. Sleepwalking can affect people of any age. It generally occurs when an individual awakes suddenly from Slow Wave Sleep (SWS or sometimes referred to as "deep sleep"), causing the sleepwalking episode
In children and young up to 25% of the night is spent in SWS. However this decreases as the person ages until none can be measured in the geriatric individual. For this reason, children and young adults (or anyone else with high amount of SWS), are more likely to be woken up and, for the same reasons, they are witnessed to have many more episodes than the older individuals.

Walking is the best exercise. I helps to keep our body fit and healthy. Normally i used to go for walking 1/2 an hour daily.

I'm not sure how good of an exercise walking is, but I find it very relaxing. It gives me a lot of time to think.

If you do brisk / energetic walking, it is very good exercise tomato, almost as good as running. Your legs and abs get a decent workout.

I can't run, it wears me out very fast, but I can power-walk for miles, and it does help to stay in shape.

I agree with you guys, walking is a good form of exercise. At least it's an option to move your body to burn some calories. I find walking for five hours enjoyable with ten to twenty-minute rest in between when I go out window-shopping with my family or friends.

Walking leads you healthy life, It keeps you physically fit and reduce your weight. You should walk atleast one hour daily.

I usually do walking everyday as one of my exercise. There are many type of walking, one is brisk walking. And this is what I usually do. How about you?

I like walking. It is a low impact exercise with minimum risk. I hardly hear people getting injured in their walking session. It is the nice way of getting your body active, your joints flexible and your lungs' capacity increasing.

It is my favorite. I never get lazy to go for walking daily. I love to go for a walk. To reduce weight and burn out more calories we can go for brisk walking daily.
