Congratulations! Having a baby is a wonderful joy, but the belly fat is so hard to get rid of. I have a 3 year old daughter so I understand your pain as I tried many ways to get rid of the pregnant tummy. It seems you are an active woman, which is great, but remember the more you exercise, the hungrier you will feel- which can counter all exercise if you give in. Along with your routines, try some pilates, which can greatly transform your body. Its great for back, butt, thighs, and of course belly without bulking up. I did this and I'm actually smaller than I was before I got pregnant.

Congrats. You have now a baby. One way of losing weight after giving birth is thru breastfeeding. It will not only make your baby healthy but you will also lose weight. With your tummy, you need to have an exercise that will make your tummy flat again. Have some work out or aerobics.

Hey, outside of Hollywood post partum bellies don't just sproing back into shape. If you're working that hard and still gaining weight, could you be straining your already strained body so far that it's kicked into 'starvation mode' where it stores all the fat it can as it's not getting enough calories? I know that women with a normal BMI shouldn't eat fewer than 1400 calories a day or this response will be triggered, post pregnancy your body's energy demands will be higher, especially if you're breast feeding. Another thing is that the belly is not just about fat, remember that the skin was stretched too and losing weight too quickly won't give your body time to adjust to a smaller shape. Try to lose weight slowly and steadily rather than burning it off and try gentle toning exercises too. Enjoy your baby and congratulations! |

Congrats on your new baby! I just read an article that said eating blueberries is good for belly fat. Instead of snacking on other things, start snacking on blueberries and maybe it will help. That belly fat doesn't go away easily. It took me from November - Summer to get my belly back after my first child and lots of crunches in that amount of time. |

It has been a long nine months of your body changing. Now after baby is born you find yourself with a mushy tummy. Tummy is the area of your body that you are most worried about getting back to its pre-pregnancy shape. Sit-Ups are the best exercise for your abdominal to get them into shape quickly. While doing sit-ups make sure you have a mat underneath you. ( You should start exercise after 6 weeks of delivery. You can strat it now as your baby was born in June) |
