Smile Meditation

Meditation has been a regular practice in my daily routine for a long time now, and I find that it has many physical and psychological benefits. I enjoy guided meditations a lot but practice mindfulness meditation more often.

What type of meditation do you practice?

I do meditation as part of my yoga practice. Actually mediation is considered the most important part of yoga (I refer to the original meaning of yoga), which will help you to attain the goal of doing yoga.

I didn't know that there are types of meditation. Could you tell me what are some of those? Is meditation the same with relaxation? If it is, I would listen to music when I meditate. For me, my mind works well when I am in a quite place and listening to any kinds of music, other than rock.

I don't excatly know what type of meditation I do but I know how I meditate. I meditate before I go to sleep lying down, and I meditate while I'm making an instrumental. The completion of a song is the completion of my mediation process.

I do meditate on my own. I would just stay in my room, sit, turn on the radio and close my eyes. It really helps me relax. I do this for about an hour. What do you do after meditating? As for me, I drink a glass of water.

I want to do meditation because I learned that it reduces stress. I even downloaded a lot of meditation-inducing music but I'm still having a hard time. I'm just too distracted and I get bored easily.

I'm not sure if this counts as meditation, but when I get anxious and/or depressed, I find myself going into deep thought. I will close my eyes and imagine a dirty piece of paper, then I visualize me erasing the marks on the paper until I feel better. It's very calming! Another thing I do is rate my anxiety 1-10 and then I take deep breaths with my eyes closed, and count down until I get to 0. It can take a while sometimes, but I think it's worth it
