Every fitness trainer wants to have a network of clients, keep them happy and satisfied and get numerous referrals. The success of a personal training business is directly linked to its client base, but the question is, how to get so many clients that will turn into enthusiastic fans? Every fitness trainer has some clients already, at least a handful and the best way to increase this number is to satisfy them to the extent that they start talking to their friends, colleagues and relatives about you. By offering them good value for their investment in a personal trainer, you will get referred to potential clients. There are millions of people in this world who needs a personal trainer and word of mouth can really get your business going. This is a marketing strategy which costs nothing and is highly effective. There are certain tips that you need to do follow when you are in a personal training business. Tip number one is that you must always ask you clients about their goals. When they tell you what they want to achieve and why they have hired you, it is important to listen carefully to their needs. You should always listen to their queries, answers and problems in such a way that they start confiding in you. Tip number two is to build that trust. Your clients should trust you that you can help them meet their goals. They should trust you that you understand their problems, their reasons for such a goal and that you care and will guide them through. Tip number three is to think again about all their needs and devise a fitness training program appropriate to the needs of your client. It is always important to consider where they are standing at the moment and where they want to go. With this information, experience and awareness, you should be able to devise the best plan to help them reach their goals. A good fitness trainer will always be able to produce results fast, and the faster he does this, the faster he will get referrals. The forth and last tip is to keep them motivated, happy and focused throughout the training program. If your clients are satisfied in the end, you will get rewarded. |

I'm sure that would be a very tough job. You would really have to believe in what you're selling in order to get people to want to stay. I think being very personable helps a LOT too.
