Default Does anyone use the wii to exercise?

Hello,
I purchased a wii gaming system for my daughter and myself to exercise with. It is a fun way to get in shape. Does anyone else use it to exercise?

My brother uses it, and according to my mother, it gives him a real workout. He gets all sweaty as if he has just gone for a run around the block. I've never seen him use it; he thinks I'll laugh at him. (He's right.)

Frankly speaking, I have the very cautious attitude to such devices. I think that such artificial influence on the human body may have the very harmful consequences. That is why I'm not using them in my practice.

So far, I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with it. It's actually been very helpful to people who are recovering from serious illnesses and surgeries. Still, you are right. There is no substitute for real physical exercise.

I don't really use it for exercise, but I can tell you that if you play it enough, you will get some exercise. Wii Sports baseball will make your arms sore if you play it enough.

I do! We love using Nintendo Wii for exercise. In fact, we don't really have the plan to exercise but just to play its sports games. We just happen to exercise while doing it and it feels really great. You can play court games even when you're at home. Its also great for spending time with your family.

Harmful consequences, you think so? Its just like exercising really but you're holding a remote. :P

This is a nice idea. Having fun while exercising. I sure want to buy one if I have a money some says it feels great when they can move their entire body while playing. It's like you're in a virtual world.

Using the Wii for exercise is a good idea, but the thing about real exercise that I've always liked is the fact that real exercise gets you out of the house. I like that. The Wii can't let you get fresh air. I think it's another way to keep you in your home.
