A lot of us spend a lot of time on their computers. I know before, when I had the internet at my house, I used to spend at least 12 hours on my laptop. Now, I spend about eight or less because I'm usually at the library.

What does everyone do during their time on the computer? I'm usually working, blogging (reading or writing a blog entry), or watching a video online.

Since we just got a new computer and recently got the internet connection, more than half of the day the whole family take turns in accessing the internet. Mostly checking emails and accessing social sites that connect us with our families and friends from all over the world.

When we don't access the internet, we would be watching movies and listening to music. We also use the computer to encode our business documents. It's our electronic record book. What are the advantages and the disadvantages of using a computer to you?

Me, especially because i work on technology and needs to be in touch with the variuous people that i work with, have to spend a lot of time on the computer. But thats mainly categoriesed as work, right and that "sitting on computer" time wont count.

When i am not working, and when i am using the computer its maily to read blogs and to network. Most of the time it would be for research to find ways of people and how people are dealing with the world and each other these days.

then comes videos, youtube happens to be a fav of mine. You guys should try it out for the sheer veriety of videos it has. Use it like a search engine wether its for entertainment or informations. Apart from accessing the internet part, i would be making plans and presentations.. thats about me

I spend quite a lot of time before the computer. I use it for emails, internet banking, chatting with my daughters who live abroad, to play online games and to browse and post in forums !! I use the google search a lot even for silly things. I watch You tube videos, listen to songs... Well the list is endless apparently. You could call me a computer addict and if ever my internet connection is disrupted, i start having those withdrawal symptoms !!

Well, I use the computer all day when I'm at work, so that's about 8 hours and then I probably use it for an hour or two each night to check my bank account, personal email, blog, facebook, etc...

Now that the internet is so much more accessible, it's lodged its way into almost everyone's lives. If it were suddenly gone, I know I'd feel like something was missing.

Typically I am on some type of forum (this one quite a bit ), working writing articles or things of that sort. I am also playing games, typically on Facebook. I'm OBSESSED with Cafe World and FishVille lately. If you haven't played, you may want to check em out. I have a lot of time on my hands lately, and I really want to work on making money online so I don't have to go back to work again. It's hard to find good sites to work for. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. (I want writing/data entry maybe.. I've tried surveys but usually haven't qualified and it was just driving me crazy lol)

Well I do lots of stuffs with our PC. Half of my time sometimes goes to working online, and Half of it goes to playing online games, and pampering my FB applications hehehe.

With me being online so much of the time, I find that it's very easy to lose track of the time. Even though I usually have a lot of things to do, I still get distracted.

Yeah that is so true, there's this day where I keep on staring at our wall clock I thought it's just 9pm. Then again I talked to my friend and he scolded me saying " are you nuts, it is already 2am" hahah that makes me really mesmerized.

I spent at least 10 hours on my computer every day. Since I work from home, I do all my writing on my computer and when the job is done, I watch some shows or just do more research. I am not really into chatting so it's mostly work and entertainment.

Nice, before I used to spend 8 hours chatting. I enjoyed it very much till my hubby said I can work online instead of fooling around. Now I don't even enter our favorite chat room. >.<

I don't spend much of my time chatting, either. It's mostly work and entertainment, and I use a few of my days doing random research. Back when I spent 12+ hours on my laptop, I was so productive, so it didn't bother me much. I was helping out my family.
