Default Favorite Toy as a Child

I played with a lot of Barbie dolls when I was a little girl, but I soon grew out of them, but they were still one of my favorite toys. I still have all of my dolls, neatly put away in a can at my house. Did anyone have a toy that they really liked to play with? Where is it now?

I used to take my brother's GI Joe weapons so my Barbie dolls could play with them. I accessorized my Barbie dolls with all kinds of military weapons.

I dont know, being a man, my post would make sense here... cuz i think this could be a post intended for women to share their fav toys.. anyway i am giving my shot.

Somehow, my mother has managed to save my very first toy.. taking to consideration that i am 30 now.. the FIRST toy status is pretty huge. It was a pink elephant and mamma says i used to bite its trunk so hard and would play with it all day long (i think she meant all the time i was awake)

But the fav toy that i remember having is LEO toy's 'building bricks'.. It was the toy that helped me unleash my creativity. Though i used to pain and draw, this building blocks actually took the level of creativity to a new height. One could make new things out of it, no matter if it made sense or not

When i grew up a bit, i remember having a mauser gun (boy toys) which my father bought when he had a raise or something similar.. But the one toy i still remember is one which i never got. There was this advertisement for a remote control helicoptor which could actually fly (it was such a big deal at that time... not so greta now).. I even tried saving a bit for it, but i neve happened.

I think i should buy it now ... I think i just talked a bit too much

My favorite toy when I was a child was my cabbage patch doll, even though I grew out of dolls and toys quite fast. I never liked Barbies as they are anatomically incorrect - I used to find that really creepy...

I've had this black and white toy cat since I was about 2 years old. When you shake it, it makes a purring sound. Has anyone else ever had one of these? I wish I could remember what it was called! I still have it to this day

EH? I find them cute, I also love playing dress ups before. I've seen at our school music room some barbies with different costumes (actually the outfit is the national dress of different countries) and they're looking soooo fashionable.

Now all of my toys are in the attic or boxed up. I feel a little like I grew up and transitioned to electronic toys too quickly although I still do enjoy the occasional stuffed animal.
