It shouldn't be a problem, take it a bit easy. You can try different positions that are comfortable to you. You can continue even till your 9th month. That is if you want to do it, if you don't feel like it then ask your husband to buzz off ;-) -F |

| Dont worry., it wont harm your baby. It is safe to have sex during pregnancy as long as you are comfortable with it. Make sure it is not too tiresome for you, as sex may become uncomfortable as body gets larger..

@ Zilsha Shah - Well it may be said to be safe, but it all depends on ones health condition and the baby, for some it may be absolutely safe to have sex but sometimes it is to be avoided. So advising someone that it is safe to have sex during pregnancy is not a good idea! Vividha, it depends on your health condition and if you have any problems which only you and your doctor know about. To be on the safe side you should ask this question to your doctor who will give you the right answer according to your health and how your pregnancy is going. |

@Rita: i have said, its safe to have sex during pregnancy as long as one is comfortable.. It is however advisable for the couples to excercise great caution. In normal cases, sex during pregnancy poses no threat to the foetus or the mother. But in case of bleeding, preterm labor and sexually transmitted infections, its to be avoided.. |

@ Zilsha - one can always feel comfortable in doing something, but its not necessary that something which may make you feel comfortable is always best or safe for you. Some doctors advise against having sex during pregnancy in certain cases, and the only cause of this is because it can cause harm to the mother or foetus. I know of a few people who I have dealt with who have strictly been advised to avoid sex during their pregnancy. |

I am not sure why you both are arguing, both of you are right. under normal circumstances it is ok to have sex and it will not harm the fetus. when there is a medical issue where your obgyn has recommended you avoid sex then that's the way to go. -F |
