How far along are you? movement starts only later in the pregnancy, not in the first few months. Also didn't you mention you had a 1 year old in another thread? ![]() -F |

So long as you are having some movements then you should be fine. In my last pregnancy, my baby hardly moved at all until the last few weeks. If you are concerned you should do as I did and speak to your doctor or midwife. I was actually sent to the hospital at one point to have an emergency scan, but everything was fine. |

What month are you on? Was there more baby movement before? If you are around the end of your pregnancy, it could be that there just isn't that much room in there for the baby to move.

Very strange, In another thread Sapna said she had the family planning operation 2 years ago. How come she is pregnant now? I have a feeling Sapna is just making up all these imaginary problems so that she gets attention from us. Sapna, How do you explain your pregnancy and two year old family planning operation??? -F |

Well maybe it's not yet the right time for the baby to make some movements. Why not go check it out in an ultrasound if your baby is doing fine.

Every baby is different. Babies move around at different times, so there isn't a set number of times that a baby should move. Why does a baby move around and kick in the womb, anyway?

| I do not recall that post... What do you mean by "family planning operation"? Something like getting one's tubes tied? If so, then yes, getting pregnant after that is rather questionable.

| Well that means the baby is just active and maybe he needs space. =)) Also babies move because they are being positioned in the correct way.
