Default Morning Sickness

Even if you are six weeks pregnant the first aspect of your being pregnant will show off. Most pregnant women suffer from morning sickness which not necessarily happens during the day but can also occur at any time during the day or night. This is mainly due to the rapid expansion of the uterus. You may find it difficult to consume those prenatal vitamins. But remember they are very important especially the folic acid for the development of the child. So do not succumb to your sick state and give away the consumption of these vitamins. Also you need to be very careful with your diet as not you need to take in extra proteins and vitamin for the baby inside.

Morning Sickness usually occurs in the early hours, it doesn't mean that it should happen in the morning only but can also occur in the evening also, it is mostly due to gastritis as there is more requirement of food or diet for the mother as well as the foetus, when there is less consumption of food due to the increased size of the uterus as the mother will feel stomach full, frequently food should should be taken either in liquid form or solids to prevent from gastritis. The other thing is avoid more oily food or fatty food as they make the mother feel nauseated and uncomfortable.
" To get rid of morning sickness in the morning or evening, eat biscuits and drink warm milk, if the vommitings are persisting still, try to drink ragi porridge s it developes the growth of the foetus as well as prevents nausea.
Mix ragi porridge with buttermilk, it'll be very effective for pregnant women.

Morning sickness , can occur at anytime but usually seems to begin early in the morning and recede as the day progresses , hence the misnomer.
There are various causes sited for nausea or vomiting during pregnancy ,

  • increased HCG production( human chorionic gonadotropin , also the hormone whose presence helps you detect you are pregnant using a pregnancy kit )
  • increased estrogen production
  • increased sensitivity to odors and flavors, which in turn can trigger nausea
  • Increased sensitivity of gastrointestinal tracts to all the increased hormore production.

Gastritis though it can occur during pregnancy is not the cause of morning sickness.

There are many things that can be done to get relief but they are so varied that it will require a new thread
But Vitamin B6 helps to decrease the occurrence as does making sure you eat small snacks now and then making sure your stomach is never fully empty

Hi I am ok , didnt login for a few weeks

Gastritis though common isn't the cause of nausea or vomiting in pregnancy ,

it is an entirely different problem that can crop up during pregnancy as well as when some one isn't pregnant , in fact it isn't gender discriminative like pregnancy

That's what I did. Even though I could stomach my vitamins, I could not eat much and was actually losing weight during the first 3 months, so I talked to the doctor about it. He had put me on Vitamin B5 pills and Pepto. It helped!
