Default Feeling giddy in mid of pregnancy

Hi,

I am pregnant. My 5th Month started 3 days back on 3rd Oct. 09.

Since last one week I have stared feeling giddy when I stand, walk and when I sit that time also I feel little bit giddy.

I have checked my blood pressure twice when I was feeling giddy,it was around 90-64 ,means it was low.
Actually my BP was noramal every time before this giddyness starts.

My doctor said to eat more means eat every after 1-2 hrs in a day.
I have started eating after every 1-2 hrs but still I feel giddy.

I can not stand or walk when I start feeling giddy.

Anybody knows exact reason n solution of this problem?

Have you checked your blood sugar levels? Could be
gestational diabetes, nothing serious, will go away after delivery.
But you have to watch what you eat.

I would suggest you go and see your doctor asap! If may some serious problem and it needs to be checked out, don't wait for it to get any worse, especially when your 5 months pregnant.

Definitely mention this to your doctor again if it does not go away. I have read in a book on pregnancy that feeling giddy does happen, although rarely, and there are reasons for it, but you shouldn't be feeling like that all the time.

Go back to your doctor and ask for some blood tests. It could be that you have Iron Deficiency Anemia, and that is why you are feeling like this. I have had it and it can easily be fixed with a daily dose of an Iron suppliment.

What do you mean by "giddy"? Do you laugh a lot or something? If so, maybe it's all natural. There is that expression that goes "the joys of motherhood" or something like that. Maybe it's just a general sense of euphoria.

The reason for this may be low blood pressure . Why don't you go for a blood check up as less hemoglobin may also be one of the causes.
