Default Keep your baby in the your womb healthy

We all want the best for your baby and so only take in nutrisious food during pregnancy to keep our baby healthy. But still there are certain foods that we should avoid as they prove to be harmful for our babies in the womb. You can consult your doctor to check what is safe and what no so safe to consume during pregnancy. Foe example seafood is a great source of protein and iron. Fish can help develop your baby's brain but there are some fishes that contain dangerous levels of mercury as too much mercury may damage your baby's rising nervous system. So avoid eating bigger and older fishes as they contain higher mercury level. Studies also prove that while you are pregnant there are changes in your metabolism and blood circulation that may increase the risk of bacterial food poisoning. So in order to prevent illness from food eat only fully cooked meat and poultry products. Similarly dairy products such as milk, mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese can be a healthy part of your diet but do not take in unpasteurized milk. As far as possible also avoid caffeine as it is something which can affect your baby's heart rate and breathing. Alcohol and cigarettes should also be avoided.

Iron is working better together with folic acid...Folic will prevent irregularities among babies. Other important nutrient is Calcium which best for the bones. Calcium is working better together with Magnesium and with Vit D.

Yes, this is true. We as women must keep the baby in our wombs healthy when we are pregnant.

Too much sweets must also be avoided to prevent from getting gestational diabetes. Eating lots of leafy greens and vegetables are a major help in keeping a healthy baby too.

I heard a doctor say on TV that a woman shouldn't eat peanut butter during her pregnancy because it could give the baby asthma. Can anyone tell me if that's true or not?

I agree with this post. When pregnant, we should not only take care of ourselves but also of the baby inside our food. eating health food is a must. vegetables would really help. and also fresh fruit juices.

If I were ever pregnant, eating right would be a tough one for me. I know what's right for me, but I eat what makes me full fast. I'm sure I could do it though if I needed. I would want my baby to be healthy.
