Default Exercises during pregnancy

There are a lot of exercises which are specially prescribed by doctors for pregnant ladies, these exercises makes the pregnancy easier and helps in an easy delivery. there are special centers for this purpose where they also teach a special way of breathing at the time of delivery to make it smooth.

These special center are called as lying-in clinics nowadays. The birth of these lying-in clinics provide the mothers-to-be of the proper education in connection with the much-anticipated delievery. In here, they will be taught how to properly breath during the delivery to assist the doctors in easing the baby's way out. And they will also be taught the things to do after delivery.

Yeah, in most cases by doing some exercises can avoid operation, and it will end in normal delivery. Doing household works itself is a best exercise. The lying-in clinics is new to me. Thanks for the information.

I think walking is also a recommended form of exercise during pregnancy.

You could do your household work daily after getting pregnant till birth. This might be a great exercise for normal delivery. You can go for a walk daily too.

The only exercise I do is walk. I walk to the bus stop from our house, and vice versa. I also try to walk during my days off, to the market or to buy from the store. This is good exercise. My doctor also says that swimming is a very good exercise for pregnant women. It relieves the stress off our joints.

I have found exercising in pregnancy to actually give me more energy than I would have otherwise had. Walking is fine, but I find there are so many great pre-natal dvd's out there now, you can simply take your pick and spend a bit of time each morning doing one.
I love the pilates/yoga ones, as well as some of the more upbeat ones. I think the trick is to start early then you are used to it later in your pregnancy when it becomes really beneficial.
One piece of advice, don't wait until the evening! you will be too tired! I find if I "get it over with" first thing in the morning, I don't h.ave to think about it for the rest of the day, and I feel better about myself.

I definitely agree on exercise during preganncy. It is really very important. During mom's stage of delivery, she will not experience the long labor of delivery. Just light exercises and walking will do.

i am not really much of an active person, even when i wasn't pregnant. but i do realize the importance of exercise during pregnancy to make sure my body will be prepared for labor and birthing so i do walking as my exercise. there are other options for those who find walking boring. there's yoga and pilates for pregnant women, if i am not mistaken.

walking and swimming are excellent exercises for preggos. i would suggest talking to your dr about anything else though. every pregnancy is different, your dr may or may not want you doing certain things

When I was pregnant I walked everyday. Sometimes I would go on short walks and sometimes I would walk for miles literally. My pregnancy was pretty bad because I could barely hold anything down, but the delivery was smooth and quick. Also the butterfly helps too.
