Default Pregnancy exhausts you

During the pregnancy ladies feel exhausted than when in normal condition. This is just but natural and this state stays on till during the early stages of pregnancy. This is an indication for the lady to slow down and be more conscious of her foetus. A pregnant lady needs good amount of rest in breaks and if not possible a minimum 10 hours of sleep is must to fight this tiredness. Later stages of pregnancy reduce tiredness but it comes back when the baby grows up completely. The rest is not necessarily to sleep but to give rest to the body so that the blood supply to the foetus increases and generating good oxygen supply. So whenever you have the chance to rest, just put your feet up and take time out for yourself, it really does make a difference!

Oh yeh pregnancy really does exhaust you, and like you said Neetu its really important to rest. Even if its an half an hour, just site down, put your feet up or even go to sleep. Eat well too which can help you to feel relaxed and at ease.
However if your someone who is working during their pregnancy, then make it a point to go bed early as possible to make sure you your tiredness goes away by the next morning and give yourself some rest. Although not much can be done about work, but with the house work, you can always get help from the hubby or even ask your mum or mother in law to help out, which is reasonable, especially because your working as well.

I believe this is due to the fact that the pregnant woman does not only work for herself but she works as well for the baby. The physical requirement from her is already double. Therefore the rest required of her is also double. But worry not much, this is only for some time. This is not forever.

Really the working women are exhausted. I saw most middle class family women, they do all household works and then going for job. It is very very very difficult for a pregnant women to manage all these. But for that only these kind of women be healthier that us.

I have read it in a book about pregnancy that during the early months a pregnant woman's body works harder, even when at rest, than a regular body when mountain climbing. Now, mountain climbing is hard! No wonder so many pregnant women feel exhausted, even though it may seem that they are not doing much.

i am already on my 34th week of pregnancy, and it is really exhausting to do what i normally don't find hard doing prior to my pregnancy. simple chores such as washing dishes and clothes exhaust me a few minutes after i have started doing it. even walking a couple of blocks is too exhausting for me. it must be the added weight to the body that's causing it.

It is normal for a pregnant woman to feel exhausted easily. I remember getting a huge burst of energy just a few weeks before the baby came. It was my nesting time. I cleaned everything and got the house totally ready for the baby.

Pregnant women should consult their doctor when there is unusual stomach pain..There are cases of pregnant women that bear a kind of PLACENTA PREVIA.

Placenta previa placement of the fetus needs a total rest of the woman . While lying buttacks must be elevated using pillows or something soft thick cloth.

My doctor said taking some vitamin B6 would help with fatique, and it did. You don't need a prescription for these vitamins, they are sold over the counter and are not expensive. The pills are small and easy to swallow, too.

I remember being completely exhausted during my both pregnancies. I just couldn't wait until I gave birth and I was almost always in a bad mood as well. It seemed like I didn't have the energy to complete any of my tasks, which made me even more upset. Even though it was worthwhile, that is something that I don't want to go through again.

I've never been pregnant but I'm always tired as it is and need to nap TONS, so I bet I'd be really exhausted. Does anyone have any tips? I'm just curious....
