jellyfish is on a distinguished road
Question Does anybody have a recipe for sweet lime soda?

I live in the USA, but I frequently patron an Indian restaurant named Bukhara. They have a delicious sweet lime soda that they make themselves. Does anybody know how to prepare sweet lime soda? I'd love to learn!

I think
Fresh squeezed limes + sugar + club soda + a teeny tiny bit of salt.

That sounds like it would work! I guess I will try trial and error to see just how much lime and sugar per club soda. Thank you for your help, F.

I know there are many ways to make any one thing, so I welcome continued recipe suggestions!

If you like drinks like that, check out some Vietnamese restaurants.
They have similar drinks. They have a fresh plum soda which
is great.

The recipe for sweet lime soda given by farce, is the common and probably the only way to make this.
The amount of sugar also depends upon your own taste, some like it very sweet some like it to be balanced.

I would say for a medium sweet taste, in a high ball glass use 2 - 2 1/2 teaspoons of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, with either a whole lime or half a lime depending on its size and how sour it is. Which should give a good enough taste, but obviously this depends on how sweet you would like the drink.

Thank you Harpreet! Your elaboration is very helpful.

Farce, I will definitely be trying many other drinks. I noticed a very enticing fruit soda at a local "Asian Cuisine" restaurant but unfortunately had already ordered tea without looking at the drink menu! Plum soda sounds delicious and I will be looking for it.
