Now that summer is finally coming, I always like to have some fun cocktails to offer when my friends come and visit.

I just found a bucket of strawberry marguerita mix on sale at the store $4 off the original price. I am not a fan of tequila, so thought I would put some rum in it and stick it in the freezer for a fun cocktail to offer my friends.

Can you think of any other great summer drinks?

I love drinking iced coffee with vanilla ice cream in summer. I have heard that adding some Bailey's Irish Cream in it is good, now I can't wait to try it!

Any drink with ice cream in it sounds good to me in the summer! My kids have gotten into making smoothies. We were on vacation and saw that they put a scoop of ice cream in the smoothies before blending together at the smootie parlor. That is what we are going to be trying this weekend.

I love a good mudslide. It's like having a chocolate ice cream sundae in a glass. You can eat it with a spoon or make it a little more liquid by adding more milk and drink it with a straw.

Ah, that reminds me of Wendy's chocolate frostie - I love it. It is too thick for a straw, you have to use a spoon for it, but if you let it sit for a little bit, it melts, and you get a drinkable version, whatever you prefer.

try an icecream float - take 2 scoops of ice cream in a tall glass and than pour some soft drink preferably coke or thums up....
