I am a big time fan of Nescafe's and McDonald's Ice Tea, it is really to be made at home with very less ingredients required. You just need some water, sugar, Ice tea essence and a lot of ice. Mix all the ingredients except for ice then crush some ice and put it in the mixture, shake it well and the drink is ready to relish.

My favorite recipe for Ice Tea, is to use 6 regular tea bags or 3 large family size tea bags. Heat water in a large pan and when it boils, turn off and add the tea bags to steep. When done add 1 1/3 cups of sugar while still hot to mix. Add cold water and Ice and mix thoroughly. Pour in glass and garnish with a sprig of crushed mint. Makes the best Sweet tea I ever had.

I like my iced tea strong (dark in color, no yellowish stuff!) and sweet. I like regular hot tea with mint, but for some reason it has never occured to me to add crushed mint into iced tea! I'll need to try that!

I use Swan Brand pure ceyleon tea.. Put a heaping teaspoon in to three cups off just boiled water. Add 1/2 teaspoon of anise. Let it steep for 10 minutes. pour into another container.. let is cool half way then add 1/3 cup of honey.. and stir well.. take four large ice tea glasses and fill with ice.. squeeze 1/2 lime into each glass.. then pour the tea into the glasses.. My guests always RAVE about this iced tea. I love it too! |

I always buy the ready to drink ones. :-) I love drinking iced tea during those really hot days. I put a lot of ice to make it more refreshing.

What you like i don't like and all such drinks i keep away.and take only clear water. Ice coffee will be tastier than ice tea.Ice coffee will be liked by 50% and ice tea by 40%and the less 10% like clear water. Last edited by migael; 06-18-2009 at 09:22 AM. Reason: Double post auto merged |

I like the unsweetened ice tea. This way I feel like I am drinking something more healthy than when I get the sweetened.

I put a tablespoon of local honey... it causes the drink to contain 60 calories but I SO enjoy it and it's still natural. Since I don't drink coffee or Soda, I don't think 60 calories from the tea is so bad.

I am not fond of drinking sodas or alcoholic drinks. Most of the time I drink a lot of water. However, next to water I love to drink ice tea. For me, it is more refreshing than juices. How true is it that ice tea is good for diet? |

I usually use the instant ones you could buy in your local grocery store. Although sometimes when inspiration hits me, I would make this concoction I learned from my father, a couple of Java tea leaves and Pandan leaves, boiled with enough water. I let it boil for at least 10 minutes or sometimes longer when I want more flavor. Then while still hot I will add some sugar, let cool and then I let it stay overnight in the fridge. Sure it takes a while to prepare but its all worth it. Not only is this a refreshing drink its also healthy too!

I ordered iced tea at a restaurant once, and they had no sugar in it, at all. I just couldn't drink it. Thankfully, there were those little sugar packets on the table, so I used a bunch of those to make my tea passable.

I love iced tea but I don't buy mixes. I brew green tea, let it rest for about half an hour and add lemon to it, refrigerate it, then whenever I feel like having some, I just add some ice cubes and enjoy a fresh glass every time.

Hello guys, do you agree that ice tea can slow down our memory? A friend of mine told me that we shouldn't drink this too much. Do you think it's true? ![]() |

Ice tea is actually great. I prefer drinking this than soft drinks. How about you, do you like too? By the way, what is your favorite ice tea flavor? ![]() |

I have never heard about tea, hot or iced, being bad for you or affecting your memory. Of course, if the tea is too strong, it can keep you awake, because of the caffeine in it, so one needs to be careful with that. However, tea is a very healthy drink. Freshly brewed tea is good for your blood vessels.
