Default Dinner for Breakfast, Breakfast for Dinner

Why is it that people only eat certain foods for breakfast and other foods for dinner? I don't get it. I will eat pancakes for dinner or steak for breakfast. Am I weird? haha.

Who came up with the rules anyway, what's the purpose? The only thing I can think of is that some foods don't agree with people in the morning. Like, steak is a bit hard to digest early.. if that's even true, I'm not sure.

And, something sweet like pancakes isn't good before bed, because that's a lot of sugar.

Any other ideas?

I think the reason is this, people tend to eat pancakes in the morning because it is quick and easy. If you cook steak, you need more time and you'll be late of you have work. Steaks for dinner is somewhat likely, because you have time to cook.

That's a good point. I would hate to wake up really early to cook steak.. that would not be fun. I would end up killing it.. not like I cook anyway.. but ya You know what I mean..

I also eat some foods for breakfast that are for dinner or maybe eat breakfast food at dinner. Like hotdogs and ham, I can eat that for dinner. We don't have rules, it's our own choice.

I do that too, LOL! I don't have any set rules. If I want pancakes, I'll have them, no matter what time of the day it is. To me, no food is strictly "breakfast food" or "dinner food."

Have you tried eating steaks during breakfast?

actually yes, it was just a leftover, from our dinner, so instead of cooking something else, I just reheated it.

I see. But cooking steaks for breakfast is too much for me. With leftovers, I can manage.

There is a pattern that needs to be followed and one should be careful and not do any experiments with his diet. A healthy diet full of fruits, vegetables and juice fasting methods is required for the proper functioning of the body
