Default Snacking

I've always heard that the more entertained we are while snacking, the more we eat. This is why I try not to eat popcorn at movies, because I always upset my stomach

This is probably true, because you are not focused on the meal, in fact you don't even consider it having a meal - you are focused on the entertainment. Quite a dangerous thing!

I'm limiting my snacks when I'm watching something. Especially when I'm only at home I always drink lots of sodas while watching then after an hour my tummy is like being burned. =)

At the opposite end of the spectrum, I tend to snack more when I am stressed. When I a working on a project I feel my stress level increase when the work gets harder or the deadline is near. I try to keep snacks on hand such as celery and peanut butter, sunflower seeds, applesauce (no sugar added), and V8. V8 makes me feel full and energized so I eat less.

Oh, I don't feel like eating anything when I'm super bored. Right now I can't play mw2 so I got nothing to do except watch some tv.

Even I have noticed that whenever I am watching tv I end up eating a lot of snack- biscuits, chips, chocolate etc. Now since I have noticed i, I usually pour my self a glass of my favourite juice- for instance I like SIL's mango flavour and mixed fruit flavour and then sit down to watch tv. And during the whole time I keep taking small sips. Since juices are healthy it doensn't make me feel guilty either

That's a really good point. I've been trying lately to make my snacks more healthy choices.
