I overeat when I'm stressed, bored or when I see something really yummy. It's so weird that we do things like this. You would think we would be too full and just wait until later. I wish I could control it. Sometimes I can't though and just give in.

Another thing I read in my Cosmo magazine that I thought made a lot of sense was, people eat when trying to make a hard decision. Eating is a necessary action, so we don't feel like we're wasting time when we do it. We do this versus watch TV or go online. Sounds weird, but it makes sense

Overeating if you are stressed and bored is a getaway strategy of some people. What I do is, I go for a relaxing massage every time I am stressed out from work. Works great for me.

| That sounds like a great plan. I know a lot of my eating is just from being bored, or not wanting to work so I find an excuse haha

@abeja_reina, the best solution to avoid over eating is to keep your pantry and fridge empty or have only the minimum needs. You tend to over eat only when there are things readily available to lay your hands on !!

| That's a really good tip. Ya, I always have TONS of snacks, and then the freezer is stuffed full of all kinds of things.

Good thing I don't overeat when I'm super bored because I always lose interest in food when I'm stressed out. Instead of eating what I do is sleep lolz.
