There have been many times in my life where I probably should have become sick because food was left out or undercooked, but I never have been. I guess I'm just like my dad. He has a very tough stomach.

I always make sure our food is fresh, and leftovers are quickly refrigerated. I don't let them sit in the fridge forever, either.

I know one idiot whose food will sit in the fridge for months - literally. Once I checked the fridge and found a container with soup that my husband and I gave him a year ago. No kidding.

Urgh Lissy, that's horrible.

A lot lof people don't realise how important a having a clean home is for our health. You don't have to be over the top clean, but when it comes to food storage and preparation hygene is very important.

I'm the WORST at forgetting to check dates on things. I'm getting a little better at it, but not by much. I really should check dates when I purchase things at the store too. Oops! Does anyone do this really well? How do you remember?
