Smile Effects of meat

Harmful effects of meat:-
Consumption of meat passes on the defects of the animal to the consumer. Domesticated animals are hardly ever perfectly healthy. Just like man, they suffer from innumerable diseases. So man just depends on luck to escape such risks.
High uric acid:- Protein from meat has high uric acid which leads to arthritis, kidney stones & higher chances of kidney diseases.
Poor source of fibre:-Meat does not contain significant amount of fibre, thus leading to constipation & other bowel disorders.

Red meat is a good source of iron. Although I am not a fan of red meat I do make an effort to eat one portion of it per week.

I don't believe in cutting out whole food groups to get healthier. I think a good variety and balance is the better way to go about things.

Such interesting information but humans do need protein. Anyway I don't eat meat that much but I like them better than veggies.

I don't eat meat too much really. I just find it kinda gross for some reason. I do like hamburgers, meatballs or chicken nuggets though lol. Eggs really gross me out lol

It's been almost five years since I gave up red meat, and I feel a lot healthier since. Iron is a good thing to have, but not in large quantities because it can be harmful. Then again, it is easier to feel full with meat than with vegetables.
