We all know that and have heard and read many times that it is essential to drink at least eight to ten glasses of water every day. But the fact is that this might also not be enough I many cases. The standard rule is eight to ten glasses of water per day but the amounts varies with the need every individual. The amount of water that one looses per day should also be taken into account. On an average an adults loose around two to three liters of water each day. If you live in extreme heats then you tend to loose even more water. So drink as much water as you can.

I am curious: Does anyone actually follow this rule and make sure to drink 8-10 glasses of water? Each day? I like water, and I understand the importance of it, but I still find it hard to drink that much every day. |

Me too. I don't even know how many glasses of water I drink in a day. Sometimes during summer days I think I drink more water than the usual because it's hot and I always got a feeling of dehydration.

For me, the colder the weather is outside, the harder it is for me to drink water. Room temperature water is always the easiest for me to drink no matter the season, but there are just some days when I don't get enough to drink, and my throat feels scratchy. If I don't drink enough water, I'll catch a cold.

I am aware of this rule, and I usually try to drink as much water as I can. I think I average about 6-8 glasses per day, sometimes more. It depends on the weather too. I drink more when it's during the summer or if the temperature is hot.

I think 6 8-ounce glasses a day sounds about right. However, I would never be able to drink that much. I would be going to the bathroom all day long haha.

Yeah I remember that I don't like going to the bathroom all the time for a single day. I just keep drinking yet still being released from time to time lol I think it's getting me nowhere.
