Default Dieting

Dieting is referred to as a habit of eating less or minimum to loose weight. The aim of losing weight is there in everyone’s mind and dieting comes as an easy way to do so. Some people also use dieting to gain weight or use it to regulate the intake of certain nutrients from entering the body. So if you are not eating your traditional or conventional diet at home then it is called dieting. Most people do dieting by eating carefully and plan their diets in a way that they reduce excess body fat and loose inches to fit in their desired clothes. Though studies have proved dieting to be an ineffective technique to loose weight but it still remains the most popular way.

To me, dieting always was about sticking to a certain food plan - eating and avoiding certain specific foods. It can be something general, avoiding pasta and bread, or more detailed. It can also be something radical, like cabbage soup diet.

For most people, dieting is a temporary change and a quick fix for people to lose weight. Depriving yourself of food for awhile isn't how you lose weight, and that's why many people fail at their diets and gain more weight.

It's the only way for me to slim down. I am not very active at exercising I get tired so fast. Well sometimes depriving me from something I want makes me crave for more but I don't want to fell into it so I'll just drink water to stop my mouth from eating haha.

If I don't eat something for a long time, I'll just feel like I have to make up for it later by eating more. That's never good for you. I think that exercise is always going to be your best choice.

But sometimes people go on a crash diet just to lose weight very quickly which is more often than not risky. If one wishes to lose weight, they should probably need to include some exercise and some diet changes in their life. For instance, try including more salad and fruits in your diet. Every time during the day when you feel hungry between the meals- don't go for chips or biscuits but try and have salad, something like a finely chopped onion, with a finely chopped tomato and cucumber with salt and lemon would be tasty and healthy and filling, all at the same time. Make sure you include a lot of juices. For instance my personal favourites are SIL juices- especially mango and mixed fruit juices. Juices are easy to digest and plus they will keep you from going weak and feeling tired, when you are on the diet. If you haven't exercised in past. starting with a 1 hour brisk walk or a 45 minute jogging would be a place to begin from. If you purposefully avoid ghee and all to stay slim, don't do it for a while, some fats are necessary for the proper functioning of your body.

You can also try Yoga, but you need to consult an expert atleast for a month, after you learn the basic exercises you can probably do that at home, all by yourself. Good luck and all the best.
