Post Antioxidants

Antioxidants are becoming very popular in stores and foods. My question is do they have anything to do with weight loss or are they more like immune system barriers?

Everything that I have read about antioxidants relates to the immune system rather than weight loss. I do not know of any food additive that will help you lose weight.

Anti-oxidants will certainly have atleast 50% of the part in weight reduction, as they burns the fat that is deposited, so you can have fruits, vegetables that contain anti-oxidants than the other fruits. For example : Straw Berry, Acai Berry, Pomogranate, green chillies, etc.

Antioxidants combat cancer causing agents called free radicals.. weight loss increases these free radicals in the body and an increased intake of antioxidants help combat these in the body aiding in weight loss

They do not burn fat neither does water

Yeah, Anti-oxidants will end up with cancer, but not all the time not in all cases, thinking that you'll get cancer you will stop eating healthy food? You know that you'll gain weight if you eat chocolates, ice-creams, sweets, etc, but you'll stop eating them? so as this.

Yeah, ofcourse some of the anti-oxidants have the effect of producing cancer if taken more oftenly as they have heat producing agents.
This is not a tale, but a fact.

yes, excess of intake of any item is harmful, having limited is very good, and less intake also is not so good, it may lead to deficiencies.
