Default No pills, No tricks, honestly you can do it...

I worked at an athletic club and when I started I weighed close to 300lbs and 8 months later weight like 230 or something maybe a little more

1200 calories per day
shrimp
any fruit and veggie
whole wheat anything
big hearty salads with a lean meat in it
mostly protein
lower on carbs and empty sugars
low in saturated fats but unsaturated fats are good like the kind in eggs, nuts, avacados etc.
high in fiber either from whole grains or veggies

tons of water

as much exercise as you can get it every bit counts!

and this is most important.... days you work out a lot eat more.....and once a week eat whatever the heck you want NO JOKE I would eat like a whole pizza and drink a bunch of alcoholic beverages (sorry to admit it but I like to party)

THE REASON IT WORKS.... when you "diet" your body thinks you are starving and will actually begin to store more fat. The thing is if once a week you really indulge and maybe two other times a week you eat 200 or so extra calories you lose in the end but your body still thinks there is enough food and will continue to burn.

the most filling this is a big giant salad because the veggies are virtually no calories and the only thing you use calories on are the dressing or perhaps some shrimp or chicken or seeds or dried fruit on top!

add cooked mushrooms or onions to any entree to make it seems like you are eating more without adding many more calories!

GOOD LUCK ALL! Message me with any questions.

I completely agree with you. I count points with the Weight Watchers counter. I cheat at least once a week over the weekend with pizza or calamari and sometimes chocolates and I constantly loose weight. I believe it is a mindset and if you say to yourself for the next how many months you can't eat any sweets or treats you won't be able to stick to the diet. Water and exercise are definitely the two other magic words.

be really careful when attempting to be a vegetarian you can become extraordinarily ill from not getting full proteins including all 8 amino acids you need. Please take the time to educate yourself and learn to eat balanced. I was a vegetarian for a few years and I did feel really healthy!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Your explanation why it works is really amazing. I'm so glad you posted this here. I'm also in the process of losing weight as of now. Its just that yours seem simple and seems to work out really.

Whoa! Really? You cheated in your diet and you lose weight instead of the opposite? Wow! Maybe I shouldn't go too hard on my diet as well and just go easily with it.

Really? I always thought being vegetarian all your life would be very good for you. I didn't think vegetables lacks some nutrients our body needs as well even though they are so healthy to eat.

Absolutely being a vegetarian all your life can be fine as long as you are getting the right stuff. Most vegetables contain no protein. Meat protein contains 8 essential amino acids, and meat is one of the few places that you can get all 8 at once. Rice, beans, avocado, nuts and things of that nature have protein and amino acids but not all 8 which is why you have to make sure you eat a variety to get all the 8 amino acids and thus "whole proteins"!

I use to have trouble losing weight but I ate very little, sometimes only one meal a day. When I started eating three meals a day (reasonable portions), I loss weight. Increasing activity is also a way to drop pounds. Some people do not like the word or idea of "exercise" but if you just put more activity in your day it will help.

yes exactly! when women try to starve themselves they do not get results like they expect, because your body stops working the way it normally does.

another BIG IMPORTANT TIP! eat something within an hour of rising this is very important to get your body's metabolism working for the day. if you find you are not hungry first thing in the morning that is usually caused by eating supper too late at night.

also if you are struggling with being hungry try drinking a big glass of water and waiting 30 minutes. if you are still hungry then eat some fruit or vegetables or lean meat like chicken or shrimp. A lot of people feel like they are hungry and don't realize they may just be thirsty as sometimes they feel similar.
