Default Do you have dessert?

Is dessert something that you have all the time, or just on special occasions?

I tend not to make dessert every night. If we did have it all the time, we would be huge!

I love desserts, but save them for special occasions.

We typically don't have dessert, or if we do we all share a mango, or some grapes.

I don't necessarily reserve real dessert for special occasions... we have it maybe twice a month, and not immediately following dinner.

Yes have to admit I am a sucker for a dessert, lately though I have been cutting back as we are going away soon so I have to be ship shape. My downfall is chocolate anything, once it has chocolate on it I'll eat it LOL

I love chocolate as well Mommy2. It's a temptation, so I never buy a lot of it. I only have an occasional treat. As to regular desserts, we use fresh or canned fruit for that. It works very well, and it is healthy.

I've been doing well not eating it but gosh my body misses it, I do be nearly drooling here looking at it, my son loves it and my hubby lives on it so there's always some here.

No, not at all the time. But there are times when I crave for dessert...like cake or ice cream. I just buy those stuff.

Deserts are occasional for me, as they aad lot of calories to your diet, and m very conscious about my figure. Occasionally i take Ice-creams and cakes.

I also love chocolate! Even when we don't have dessert, I tend to look for a piece of chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth. I usually have some hersey kisses in the cupboard for chocolate cravings. It is hard to just stop at one!

I love desserts, Though i control myself and have at least once in a day after a meal. Without desserts my day is not complete. Chocolates and cakes are my favourite.

I love desserts and I make one every day for after dinner. Having dessert is pretty much like a ritual at our home. I have a recipe that I make quite often - it is light, delicious and very easy to make. If you'd like to try it out, here it is:

Mosaic Cake

1 pack of tea biscuits or Petit Beurre (if available at your grocery store)
8-10 tbsp butter (1 stick) or reduced fat margarine.
3 tbsp unsweetened coco
2 eggs
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup crushed walnuts or almonds or pistachios or all
-Melt butter (or reduced fat margarine) and let it cool down. In a bowl mix well sugar, eggs, butter, and coco.
-Crumble biscuits into this mixture. Mix all and pour this mixture on a plastic wrap. Shape it as you like and seal the both sides. Put it in freezer for an hour. Cake will be firmer in an hour so you can give it whatever shape you want prior to freezing: round, triangle, or square.
-Mosaic cake is served cold so keep it in the freezer.
-Cut it into thin slices.
-Serve it on its own or with ice cream.

Enjoy
