Generally when purchasing lipstick, i get confused over which one to purchase sheer lipstick or matte lipstick. I like both and feel that it matters on what the color of the lipstick is and where i may wear it, as in work, evening etc. It also depends on the makeup which is done, as sometime the matte affect looks good as well as the sheer look.

Which ones do you use or prefer sheer lipsticks or matte lipsticks?

I think it depends on your lips , if you have full lips then matte probably is a better choice as a sheer one will make your lips look OT... but then again it depends on the shine gloss quotient of the lipstick .
I find glittery and too shiny ones make ppl weraing it look very madeup

I sometimes wear sheer lipsticks although I have full lips. What i do is mix sheer and matte but more sheer than matte. Matte lipsticks are great. It gives you a more natural look. What kind of color do you normally purchase?

I generally stay away from anything shiny or sparkling when it comes to cosmetics, so I prefer matte. I like calm, natural colors.

I prefer matte because it looks more natural. When it comes to color of the lipstick, i prefer those with brownish tint.

I feel so ungirlie right now lol. What's the true difference between the two?
