Default It's garage sale season

I love this time of year. I start going threw every room, every closet and every drawer. This is when I do most of my decluttering. Getting ready for a garage sale is not fun, but it certainly puts my house back in order.

Anyone planning a garage sale this year?

Are you one to go and buy others treasures at garage sales?

I used to love to shop at garage sales, I still do most times however its very hard with as many children as I have. I need to have a yard sale but I just do not have time to deal with it so generally I end up picking out a nice box of things to donate to the Women's Shelter each time we go to town

We hada couple garage sales this year. It seems we can come up with items to sell everytime. The only problem is we end up selling something we need at a later date, and have to re-purchase it. And yes, clearing out some of our stuff provides room for the 'treasures' we purchase from other people's garage sales.

We are already done with the garage sales in my area as we have to do them on specific dates. But I have sold many things that I haven't been using this year and made a little chunk to buy some new stuff.
I love the garage sales as it allows me to get rid of things that otherwise clutter the house and there is always someone who needs things that we don't necessarily use any longer - it is a win-win situation for everyone

We went to a garage sale our neighbors had and bought some wine glasses. Usually, I don't go to garage sales that much, although you do get some good deals there, I admit that. I have not done my own garage sale yet... Maybe someday.

I actually lucked out this year and had to decludder because I was in the process of moving. I think it's a good thing to do at least twice a year.. just kinda go through all your stuff and see if there's anything you could sell or give away. You'd be surprised how much junk accumulates so quickly!!

Plus what a great feeling when you're all done!!

I really enjoy yard sales. I sat up a table at a high school yard sale this year. I enjoyed being outdoors and the casual atmosphere to sell my clutter. I want to do it again next year!

I've always had a really good time checking out garage sales with my little sister. She's so cute! She's 15 now.. I remember when she was like 8 or 9 and she would have like 3 dollars and she would shop around. What a cutie!

When I got older, we started doing garage sales ourselves and we were in charge of the money.. it was amazing!!

I have several bags full of stuff that I'm planning to put in a garage sale. But, at this point, I don't think it's really enough for a garage sale, so I will be waiting until I find more stuff to put in the garage sale.

We ended up having 3 garage sales. We just moved the locatoin My 3 sisters and I had tons of stuff to sell. The funny thing was that a couple of people came to all 3 sales and bought something every time! It wasn't like we added anything new. I guess they just found something they missed the first couple of times.
