which is which? a wall paper or you want to paint your house? I'm planning to buy a wall paper this week to cover up and have a change in mood in my room. Because the colour of my room is light orange, maybe i want to try other shade for a change.

my parents used wallpapers for our home..i had a beautiful purplish wallpaper(my choice!). wallpapers can be beautiful but i do not know how long they will last....once there is tear and wear, you have to peel them off and repaint...

My last house was a country style home. I wallpapered most of the rooms and really loved them.

Now that we are in a more contemporary home, I love the paint. I have no walls that are white! Color everywhere. I did use some boarders in my bathrooms and laundry room.

It totally depends on what you like. You can paint a room and only use a wall border. It's wall paper but just a small amount of it. Some people put it on the top next to the ceiling. I like to put the border right in the middle of the wall- to separate the room a bit. How about painting a couple of walls and papering the others? You can do a lot with walls!

That sounds like a lot of fun! I myself have never used wallpaper, but it would be a lot easier than painting, and it's so detailed and perfect

I like wallpapers because of the unlimited design and also because the design always comes perfect unlike paint which depends on the expertise of the painter. Although I think paint would be cheaper.
