Default Dishes and Laundry

Dishes and laundry have always been the main cleaning that I do, but since I moved back into my grandma's house to take care of her while she was dying.. I haven't done anything. I think it's been like 4 months since I've done any cleaning. How often do you clean?

We kind of try to have on-going cleaning, so to speak - it is easier to do regular upkeep than let things accumulate and then spend a whole day taking care of it.

Dishes and laundry do not bother me, I think it's the easiest part of housekeeping. What makes my blood boil is having to de-clutter and put things away that other people leave scattered. That's just maddening.

I do a whole house clean on the weekends, usually only takes me around 2-3 hours because I maintain for about 30 minutes each night. I love nothing more than to crank the music and dance around cleaning the house

That's a really good point. I like to try to clean as I go so that way it doesn't become a major issue. If I know I HAVE to clean, then I don't want to lol and I find reasons to keep putting it off.

I usually do the same. I like to crank up the music and sing/dance when I clean too. However, now that I'm back living at my dad's, it would just feel weird haha. I'm too shy to sing or dance in front of people. I wanna get over that fear, cuz it's boring

I like to clean the house when no one is around. That way I could clean without any disturbance. I do my laundry every sunday and the dishes we do that everyday.

I do the dishes daily. I hire someone to wash and iron my clothes and do the house cleaning for me 3x a week.

Now THAT sounds like a plan! I wish I had the money to do that haha. Then again, I'll get to it eventually so I'll save the money

My mom does the dishes every few days which I am very grateful for. We all wash our clothes on our own, but that's usually no more than two or three times a month. I don't mind. At least we get clean clothes out of it.
