Default Never Ending Laundry

Is it me or is doing laundry like fighting a never-ending battle? Even if I get it all done and put away, the next day there is like a new load ready to be washed. I've gotten into the habit of putting a load in before I go to work and putting it into the dryer when I get home rather than just waiting to do it all on the weekends.

Does anyone have any time-saving tips regarding laundry?

I am going through exactly the same thing. I realize that we can't possibly be wearing the same clothes every day but it just never seems to stop and I do laundry every other day. I would also like some helpful tips if anyone knows how to save time!

I, too, try to do laundry whenever I have a moment rather than wait for the weekend; if I wait, it will be too much. Thank God for washers and dryers, that's all I can say. Can you imagine what it was like for our grandmas who had to do laundry by hand?!?

I dunno if this helps but what I always do is put the dirty clothes in the washer, and then run it once it's full. Then RIGHT when the dryer's done.. move em.. etc. And, I always put each load away before I bring more out of the dryer. Hope that helps!!

But, I know what you mean. Even though it's just me and my bf.. it still seems like it just never ends. How many people live with you?

That is actually a good idea, but I am a little concerned about mixing the whites with colors? We are four at home, my two girls and the husband and I. Of course, girls' laundry is the one that gets out of control the fastest, lol!

I know it's bad, but I honestly just mix everything together. I've always done that. I wish I had the care to treat my clothes better, but I don't lol. I have always been one to ruin clothes on accident. But, that's why I buy em cheap I guess lol. Terrible.. i know

Sometimes I will try on several different outfits and forget to hang up the items that I did not choose to wear. Then the dirty clothes are mixed with the clean clothes and I can not tell the difference, so I wash everything.

Aww, that must be really annoying. My husband sometimes does that too and he says he can tell the difference by doing the smell test (!), lol! Well, even though he puts his clothes back in the closet, I put them back into the hamper again, as I don't exactly trust his famous test
