We have family picture in our living room. Moreover, I also have it at my bedroom. By the way, do you think its not awkward to look a house with lots of pictures in the living room?

I keep my family pictures on my computer's hard-drive or on a CD for the times I want to see them but I don't hang any pictures on the walls. My daughters have a few pictures of them in their room but I don't believe in displaying them in the house open to everyone's sight.

I keep a few family pictures in my living room and bedroom but they are in frames. I also have photo albums. I saw a picture frame that was digital and the pictures rotate. I am considering investing in one.

I think the coolest place for family pix is in the living room. Especially above your fireplace, if you have one. I just like the fact that whenever someone comes over they see all the people you love and since it's the busiest room usually in a home, you feel like you're family is closer to you.

Mine lives all over the US, so it makes me feel like they're closer

Hey... I'm curious as to why you don't display them? I think about this sometimes... like, why do we display photos of people who we live with.... or photos of friends and family.. I don't know how I feel about being displayed in someone else's house.. so is it weird for me to put photos on display?

We have a family picture in the living room hanged up where the tv is, and a few small photo frames put up in the display unit.

When i have kids would also put some pictures of them up too, and some of them near staircase as the stairs go up.

Another nice place to put family photos is in the master bedroom. I like to have pics even in kids' rooms. I don't have kids, but my mom always used to do that and it just makes your room feel more like your own little place. Seeing all your loved ones around you is nice. I used to be really scared of the dark too, so it helped a lot
