Put some plants in it to make it look refreshing. But be sure that the plants are able to get some sunlight. And ask the dealer for indoor plants. Not all plants are meant to be indoors.

I like the living room to be very presentable so I think that indoor plants could give a natural look. My living room has some glass cabinet for some of my angel figurines and stuffed toys. |

I would probably opt for artificial yet very natural looking plants so that they don't require watering and other upkeep. I don't need to add to my workload, I've got enough to do already. |

| I'm not sure if you have the space to do this, but I have an area in my house where I store old furniture and things and then when I feel my house needs a bit of a change, I rotate items into that area. It really makes your house look nice, and keeps you from getting bored. Hope that helps!! |

Adding mirrors can also make the room appear larger. Also consider light color paint. I once viewed an apartment that had black walls. It seemed like the walls were closing in on me.
