Default I shifted my TV from drawing room

I was very unhappy as my drawing room was messed, I faced embracement when suddenly some guests arrived at my place and my drawing room was dirty. Then I found the reason that why my living room is in unarranged manner, and the reason was TV. Then I decided to shift the TV in another room where my kid is playing, watching cartoons etc...

Now you will find my drawing room always in an arranged manner. I m benefited in some other way also as my kid is not disturbing me while I m busy with guests, he is engaged with his toys and watching cartoons.

Thats a good idea, i often too find that my living room is always messy and whenever sudden guest come round its not a pleasant scene.

I suppose if the TV was moved it would make all the difference, as kids are always in front of the TV and its kind of a place where they play and relax, so it makes sense to make it separate, at least that way you wont have to worry about the mess all the time and the living room can stay clean and tidy!

There is another advantage of moving your TV that if the TV is in the drawing room it will lead to more sitting and chances of spoilage of furniture is more by kids and all.

Question

I have decided to get rid of my TV all together. Now, the other members of the household are really upset about this, of course. However, I find that it interferes with the quality time that we can have together in the evenings or the weekends. What do you think?

you can still have the TV in your drawing room..provided you have a TV in your children room in this way they will watch TV shows and the likes on their room and the mess they're going to create will be limited to their room only..

The only television I have in my home is in my son's room. I do not watch much television. People do tend to gravitate toward the room with the television. I do have a bookcase full of books. Without a television, the books are often a topic of conversation.

I prefer books over the television as well. There is nothing interesting on TV most of the time anyway and since I like interaction with people, I really like it when it's off and people can actually have an interesting conversation between them.

I know what you mean. For some reason, a TV in a room, for me anyway, always seems to make the room look cluttered. Plus, it's just so distracting and makes the room too noisy. I can't sleep if I have a TV in my room.. so I'm not sure how you got any drawing done with it in there.

I wanna have a drawing room!! I love drawing
