For a bride, it's mandatory to look fresh, in order to look beautiful at her wedding night. It's very obvious that during marriage days, especially in India, it's really hard to give proper time to sleep but then it is very necessary that the bride doesn't look totally stressed out and takes at least 8 hours of sleep.

Huhuuuhu...with the sooo many things that need supervision, I wonder how the bride can get enough sleep and rest? maybe a matter of attitude will be helpful! Think that youre beautiful and that will just surely add to your being beautiful indeed during your big day!

I think in any culture it is important for a bride to get alot of rest the night before her wedding day. Brides want to look their best for the big day. With all of the activities up to the wedding it is easy to get exhausted. The brides need to make sure to set aside time for themselves and get in their sleep.

I think the bride could hardly sleep because of her excitement for the big day...hehehe...if that is the case, she can take a supplement rich in magnesium 30 mins before going to sleep, this will help relax her muscles...

The recommended amount of sleep is 9 to 10 hours a night, but this varies from person to person. Generally, under 8 hours and over 12 hours every night is not normal.

you are toally right jessika, sound sleep is very necessary for every bride and groom. But marrriages in india is considered to be a very long affair and people are engaged in the celebration from at least week before the marriage actual's date.

Yes it is true every bride should sleep well the night before the wedding eventhough it is hard to find time even for a nap. Every bride should look as the most beautiful and blushing lady at the wedding day.

I agree that enough sleep would be better but the fact is that excitement wouldn't let you. Yet you're lying in the bed, with eyes close but your mind is awake. And believe me you'll never feel exhausted during the wedding day, instead right after the rites there you feel that it seems you're carrying the whole world. Am I right?

I had only slept about three hours the night before my wedding but even then, I never felt tired throughout the whole day. I don't think I even thought about being exhausted actually. I think that it's best to follow your body - it is important to get enough sleep but there is no point in lying in the bed and shuffling all night if you're no longer feeling tired either.
