What book are you currently reading?

I am working my way through The Woman In White by Wilkie Collins.

It is probably the best book I have ever read, I can highly reccommend it!

I remember watching a movie based on The Woman In White, it was very good. I have not read the book yet. It is considered a classic.

Yes it is. If I remember correctly it was first published in 1860, but unlike other novels of it's time it is not full of 'olde English' language that is sometimes difficult to read.

Right now nothing. I'm starting Twilight this weekend (when I have a spare second). I love to read. I read Jodi Piccoult a lot. I have the first 2 books in the Traveling Pants series, and the first 2 in the Twilight series.

The Moor's Last Sigh is on my to read list. Currently I have read one page of Angels & Demons, so can not say much about it, but I am expecting a lot, as its by Dan Brown.

If you like Dan Brown, you will also enjoy Digital Fortress and Deception Point. Both are in my home library.

Have you seen the movie Twilight? How does it compare with the book? I see different opinions on this one, ranging from "the movie is okay by itself but the book is far better" to "excellent adaptation."

I am back to reading ''The Path of Least Resistance'' by Robert Fritz. It is strange, but even though I have read this book more times than I can remember, every time I pick it up again, it feels as though I am reading it for the first time. Does that happen to anyone else?

[QUOTE=bubble;1566]What book are you currently reading?

Right now I'm reading one of Patricia Cornwell's novel, the Hornet's Nest. It was published in 1997. I encountered this book in one of my visit in our public library and I got interested because it's one of her bestsellers.Does anyone here already got the chance to read this novel?

Post I am currently reading ....

At this point I am in the process of reading 3 books at one time.
1 - The Fiction Writers Workshop By Josip Novakovich ; Right now I am in the process of writing my own book and I am using this to help me in certain areas . I would highly suggest it to anyone that is interested in fictional writing as a career. I am also a freelance writer , so it has helped in that as well .

2 - I also just picked up the first book in the Twilight Series , I have already seen the movie. I know there is going to be differences and that is what I like about it . I love it when they have some things that are different between the two .

3 But I am also reading One Silent Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon : I really enjoy her books they are never the same plot all the time like a lot of authors if you like paranormal, shapeshifting romance type books than she is the one that I would suggest to anyone plus I also got the chance to meet her in person and she was awesome

I'm reading Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. I'm partial to historical novels.

I love self-help and metaphysical books quite a lot - they are always a great read and they broaden my horizons on human nature, the Universe and everything else less tangible around us.

That is very true, I know when I read things dealing with metaphysical aspects . I tend to find myself in a more relaxed state . If you know what I mean .

Currently I am completing Digital Fortress, another Dan Brown's intriguing work. It is the story about so-called unbreakable code which is actually just a warm infecting the computer system belongs to NSA.

I still need to get that one of Paulo Choelo. I have read most of his other books. His mind is fascinating. The Witch of Portobello was very good and then obviously The Alchemist.

I'm busy reading Papilion again.

Right now, I'm rereading Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe. I've always loved medieval European history - there's just something about it! Ivanhoe is one of my favorite books set in my favorite time period... can't go wrong!
