Default Segue to Fantasy

Normally, I read lots of science fiction, but now, I'm turning my focus to a slightly different genre, fantasy. Does anyone have any good fantasy novel suggestions?

Well, Blood and Chocolate was a good book. But, I haven't read it for many years so I'm not sure how good it really was. I was in high school when I read it. Also, Stephanie Meyer's The Host looks very interesting!!! It's gotten really great reviews, but I haven't started it yet. You may also want to check out books by Alice Sebold.. I think she counts as fantasy??

I have wanted to read "The Host." The description of the novel sounded very interesting. "Blood and Chocolate" was based on a movie, wasn't it? Those are some good recommendations. Thanks! I'm not sure if Alice Sebold is classified as a fantasy writer, but her work "The Lovely Bones" does have elements of fantasy.

Alice Sebold was the first author that I ever liked enough to remember her names. The Lovely Bones is an AMAZING book. I also bought Lucky and The Almost Moon. I hope to read them soon lol. Who knows though.. I'm always so busy with something lol

I read about her on Wikipedia, but I don't think that most of her work would apply to my interests. It was great that she was able to turn her personal tragedy into something that could be shared with everyone. I hope to be able to do that with my own writing.
